玛娜·洛伊生平

1934年，她转型演喜剧角色，在喜剧片《大侦探聂克》中与威廉·鲍威尔合作。此片的成功延续了他们两人的合作，又演了几部续集。从此她名声大震，曾当选一次新闻界举行的投票活动的“影后”。
除此之外，她还是社会活动家。二战时为红十字会工作。但50年代，受当时美国反共潮流的影响，她受到了迫害，此间影片的拍摄有明显的减少。别外，她也参加电视剧的演出，如《科伦博》等。
